  • I know that my xanga is dead but who is to say that due to bordom I cannot speak from the grave. So here my xanga is... speaking from the grave. I wonder what I should say... if anything. I am not even sure if anyone will read this. But why not give it a try? There still might be someone out there in the land of living xanga.

So I shout out to the land of living xangians a friendly hello from the xangain grave. :)

  • My family is nomadic. We are gypsies. I have always had a restless spirit within me. I can't help it. When you have moved and traveled as much as I have you get bored rather easily. Summer is nice because you get to rest and relax but all to soon I get bored. I am bored and I want to go on an adventure and travel the whole wide world! There is so much to see and do before I die (including riding an ostrich LOL)!

  • I just finished my first "Redwall" book titled "Mariel of Redwall". It was mildly entertaining at times but for the most part it was unfortunately rather dull. It seamed all the characters did was eat. I couldn't stand how the author tried to phonetically write out the dialects! The plot was terribly  predictable and the action was slow. The characters did not have any internal conflict or growth. Furthermore, the book was too long. If it had been a better book, the length would not bothered me. I am not saying the book was entirly devoid of good qualities, it just did not hold my interest as I believe a book should. I am hesitant to pick up another Redwall book at least for some time. If any of you have a defense for the Redwall series speak out and let it be known. Until I am convinced, I doubt I will read another novel of Brian Jacques!

I totally just took a trip down memory lane! It has been three years now since I moved away from VA. While searching on facebook I managed to find a ton of people that I haven't heard from in a long time. It is so strange to think that that world is not so long ago as I thought it was. I miss those kids. By now many of them have forgotten about me, but I guarentee that I will never forget them. They changed my life. My Lord Jesus has been so gracious to me, I can hardly handle it. :) ~Denise
